The Artisan Dipper

Our Story

About the Artisan Dipper.

the Artisan Dipper is a small workshop in Rosedale, British Columbia, dedicated to one quiet idea: that the most beautiful things are still made slowly, by hand, in small batches.

We make 100% pure hand-dipped beeswax tapers and a small line of honest herbal salves. Every taper is dipped many patient passes through warm golden wax, hung to cool, then dipped again. The wax comes from beekeepers we know by name. There are no additives, no fragrances, no shortcuts — only wax, wick, and time.

Alongside the candles, we tend a small apothecary of calendula and plantain salves, made the same way our grandmothers made them — with foraged and garden-grown herbs, slow-infused into oil, and finished with a little of our own beeswax.

A Quiet Promise

Made the old way.

Every candle and every salve that leaves the workshop is made by hand, in small batches, with materials we trust. If a batch isn't right, it doesn't go out. That's our whole quality program.

Where to Find Us

In the Fraser Valley.

You'll find our candles and salves at the Kilbie Historic Site store in Harrison Mills, BC, and at select markets through the warmer months. The workshop itself is in Rosedale, British Columbia — visits by appointment.
