Good to Know
- Why pure beeswax instead of paraffin or soy?
- Pure beeswax burns cleaner and longer than paraffin, with no petroleum soot. It has a natural honey-warm scent and a beautiful golden flame. Paraffin is a petroleum by-product; soy is often blended with paraffin and bleached. We use 100% organic Canadian beeswax — nothing else.
- Do your candles drip?
- When burned upright in a still room, our hand-dipped tapers are virtually dripless. Drafts and tilted holders are the usual culprits. Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each burn for the cleanest result.
- How long does a taper burn?
- Roughly 7 to 8 hours per 10-inch taper. Beeswax burns slower and cooler than paraffin, so you get more hours per candle.
- Are your candles made to order?
- Yes. We dip in small batches in our Rosedale, BC studio. Most orders ship within 5–7 days of confirmation.
- Where do you ship?
- Across Canada and the United States. Shipping is calculated after we confirm your order — we'll write back within two days with totals.
