Calendula & Plantain — Two Old Remedies, One Tin

An open tin of golden calendula healing salve with fresh calendula flowers

Long before the apothecary aisle, every garden held its medicine. Calendula and plantain are two of the oldest — gentle, dependable, and easy to grow in the Fraser Valley.

Calendula

Bright orange calendula petals are sun-infused into olive oil for six weeks, then warmed with our own beeswax into a soft golden balm. It's the salve we reach for when hands are chapped, dry, or weather-worn.

Plantain

Common plantain — the broad-leafed plant most people walk past — is one of the great quiet healers. Hand-gathered and steeped slowly, it makes a deep green salve we keep nearby for cuts, bites, and raw skin.

Both salves are made in the same workshop as the candles, in small honest batches, with nothing in them that doesn't need to be.
